Cattle farm

My daughter was married at fairlawn estate last weekend, it was an elopement, and only my husband and son plus her husband’s parents were there. We had the entire house to ourselves, Alex and Rebecca met us on check in and then left us to settle in. I don’t know where to start! The 5 bedrooms were exquisite, we all commented about the best sleep ever! The orchard provided plenty of citrus fruit to snack on and the gardens were lovely. The kitchen is equipped with so many gadgets, a dream to work in. I highly recommend fairlawn for a getaway!

We had a really nice time. Great outing for the kids.Only thing missing is maybe a map of where the animals are, so you can go straight to the animals you want to see (excited toddlers mainly asking to see ducks).

stayed in the executive cottage for two nights. very clean, nice and peaceful accommodation. so friendly staffs. it is recommended. we enjoyed the serenity there.

Not the most amazing animal welfare. Stark, bare paddocks and cages with zero environmental enrichment for the animals and birds housed there. It does appear as though the animals aren't fed properly so are incredibly hungry for the scraps of bread, lettuce and carrots provided in the feeding buckets you can purchase on arrival. Not great nutrition for most animals and reflected in some of the body conditions of the animals. The kiddo enjoyed it but not ideal for it to be at the expense of the animals well being, which is how it appeared. Will give it a miss next time.

Called in to visit friends and was stunned by the elegance & beauty of the property.Absolute luxury

Its a good farm to take little kids and toddlers. I am only knocking 2 stars off my rating for the living arrangements of the 3 birds in the guinea pig shed. The cages they are in are tiny for the size birds they are and they all seem depressed and tired. They deserve an aviary where they can fly, forage and see the sunshine or to be rehomed.

Very nice place. Amazing service from owner lady who helped my toddler. Kids loved this place as animals were baby & very friendly with kids.

Beautiful country which typifies Western Australia. This is a working cattle station with access only via permission of the pastoral lease owner. DO NOT attempt to access this area without permission as you will be located and asked to leave immediately, you will be trespassing. The owner takes this very seriously (understandable) due to the amount of work in maintaining fences, gates, stock location etc.

Animals are in such poor condition, the horses were wind sucking which is a behavioural issue usually caused by Boredom, the long billed corellas beak is over grown and can’t close its mouth, the vines pigs enclosures where completely soiled and the kangaroos shelter had no bedding only hard rocks to sleep on.Would be a great place if their animals weren’t miss-treated

Lovely and quiet location yet close to shops , restaurants and cafes. Very comfortable king suite with a touch of luxury.
